Final stretch of preparations for my trip starts today! Things I need to get done this week include:
- Get cash (small denominations) and plenty of quarters (for laundry, tolls, showers, etc.)
- Put together final shopping list for any perishables, etc.
- Organize house and dog/cat equipment (for Mike)
- Work on video camera and GPS setups/connections for van
- Set out everything to be packed into van and double check lists (cut back where needed)
- Clean/vacuum inside of van & put in front floor mats
Been a while since I've done a trip of this size from South Carolina, through Colorado, southern Utah, Arizona and then home on Route 66. Definitely excited since I've been planning this most of the year, but also a little nervous!
